Jordan & Aakash

Santa Ynez Indian Fusion Vineyard Wedding at Coquelicot Wines

Jordan and Aakash’s wedding unfolded across the vineyard settings of Coquelicot Wines and Gainey Vineyard, creating a refined backdrop for a thoughtfully designed Indian fusion wedding in California wine country.

As the certified planner and designer, RaniRaja Weddings led full-service wedding planning and event design, managing logistics, timelines, and guest experience across multiple venues and events. The weekend was intentionally structured to blend South Asian traditions with Western vineyard elegance, resulting in a celebration that felt seamless, modern, and deeply personal.

Design emphasized a fusion aesthetic that honored cultural rituals while allowing the natural vineyard landscape to shine. Floral design by our partner Roses and Rangoli featured lush arrangements, organic textures, and layered installations that complemented the rolling vineyards and carried a cohesive visual story throughout the weekend.

The couple’s sangeet and haldi embraced a modern interpretation of tradition. Instead of turmeric, the haldi ceremony used soft flower petals—creating a vibrant, celebratory moment that was visually striking, guest-friendly, and aligned with the overall design palette. This approach allowed the ritual to retain its meaning while adapting it to the couple’s preferences and setting.

Bridal beauty was provided by Pretty Please Beauty, with attire from Kynah, Seema Gujral, and Frontier Heritage. White henna artistry by Henna Me Beautiful added a distinctive fusion detail, offering a modern alternative to traditional mehndi while maintaining intricate craftsmanship.

Photography and cinematography by Bogdan Weddings captured the celebration with a clean, editorial approach. Their use of natural vineyard light and open landscapes resulted in imagery that feels timeless, romantic, and rooted in place.

This Santa Ynez vineyard wedding reflects RaniRaja Weddings’ approach to luxury Indian and fusion wedding planning in California wine country: intentional design, culturally fluent planning, and celebrations that feel effortless while remaining highly personal.
