Rachel Ashtamkar is the proud first-generation daughter of a South Asian fusion couple. Throughout her life, her mixed Desi background has informed her cultural understanding & galvanized her life's work - to illuminate the beauty in our differences. Rachel’s childhood tea parties were chai parties while playing Indian dress up. Rachel now adores showing the world how to combine cultures effortlessly.

Her master’s degree from New York University prepared her for the opportunity to be of service as a high-level facilitator, connector and creative. Rachel has successfully planned and executed black tie events for guest lists as high as 1,200 people with diverse clients.

A published author and sought-after speaker on all things mixed-Desi, Rachel is most passionate about the intentional creation of meaningful moments alongside couples who bring their individual heritages, their life experiences and their unique love story to the table.
